Madi's audition survived first round judges and the online voting. Advanced as a semi-finalist, she will perform her original work at Tannahill Music Hall in Fort Worth on January 24 before panel of judges, including a Live Nation Talent Booker, a record label representative and a radio station program director. The three artists earning the highest scores from the judges, will advance to the finals on February 7, 2026. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

My collaboration with Felix Zhao and Luca Donosso closed an amazing week on campus with international students, all focused on improving their craft. Days started with seminars on songwriting and the music industry in general, and ended with open mic nights in Boston.

International Songwriting Competition
The SongDoor International Songwriting Competition, ASCAP approved since 2006, is open to all amateur and professional songwriters worldwide, 16 years and older. Catering to a wide range of musical genres, the competition’s mission is to discover, encourage, and promote talented songwriters globally.
Madi’s original song, “Picking Up After You” received an "Honorable Mention" and her original, “I Don’t Even Miss You” was selected for an “Honorable Mention with Special Recognition”. Both songs were in the 2024 soft rock category and are available on streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
